White class have also enjoyed using Super Movers to help learn Times Tables and nu7mber facts

Our topic this term is Rivers, Mountains and Coasts.

In this fascinating topic, you will learn what mountains, rivers and coasts actually are, some of the forces that help create and shape these important features, and the effects they have on the world around them. You will learn about the climates, human interactions, and lifestyles shaped by the mountains, rivers and coasts of the world.

To support our learning we will be looking closely at the book, Flotsam by David Weisner

A bright, science-minded boy goes to the beach equipped to collect and examine flotsam-anything floating that has been washed ashore. Bottles, lost toys, small objects of every description are among his usual finds. But there's no way he could have prepared for one particular discovery...

On Tuesday 8th May children in White class w2ill be celebrating VE day with a street style party and traditional games.

VE Day

Children will be going on a visit to Stockport Air Raid Shelters on 23rd May. We are looking forward to living a day in the life of a WWII Evacuee!
