Diabetes Awareness Day

Phoebe in Orange class was recently diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Today, on Diabetes Awareness Day, she told the children in Key stage 2 what it is and how she lives with it, including how she checks and regulates her glucose levels. The children asked lots of questions and we were all very impressed by how well adjusted and knowledgeable Phoebe is about her condition. She’s an inspiration.
