Shavington High School’s Annual Concert

The various viral illnesses that have ravaged the country haven’t left Weston out. We even had to postpone Reception’s nativity play this week due to illness. Sometimes however, the show must go on and tonight the choir sang at Shavington High School’s annual concert. From a choir of 39, 11 were well enough to perform and they did an absolutely awesome job. They belted out their songs and did us all really proud, even with a rearranged programme. This was their second of three festive performances following the Wychwood Village Christmas light switch-on on Sunday and tomorrow’s Christmas market at the White Lion.

Mrs Bate and her fantastic choir deserve maximum praise for their wonderful performance tonight. They really stepped up - the Weston way. We’re really proud of them all.
