Nurse Carolyn Armitt comes to Weston!

Lesson: EYFS

Class: Red Year: 2017 - 2018

As our topic this term is 'People Who Help Us', we had a special visitor today in Red Class...Nurse Carolyn.

Carolyn came in to talk to the children about her role in our community and the people she has helped in both A & E and as a nurse practitioner. Miss Moss and some of the children had lots of ailments which Carolyn tended to and made them feel much better.  We had chesty coughs, sore throats and achy ears, as well as bumps, cuts and grazes. We looked at the specialist nurse equipment and talked about when we would need to go to the doctors and when we would need to go to hospital. The children asked some great questions and really enjoyed their visit, especially enjoying their 'doctors mask' souvenirs. Thank you Nurse Carolyn!
