Thank you so much for your overwhelming generosity today! Your harvest donations are very much appreciated. Thank you also to Englesea Brook Chapel & Museum for your donation.
We spoke about harvest in our assembly this morning and were delighted to welcome Michele, Sarah and Ann from Chance Changing Lives into school.
Michele told the children about the important charity work that they do and specifically about how your donations will go to their Community Pantry and help a great number of people who, for whatever reason, are struggling to afford food.
Our Year 6 Community Ambassadors helped to load up the vehicles with all of the tins, jars and packets. They needed help from all of their classmates because there was so much!
We finished our assembly with the songs we have been learning over the last few weeks, Harvest Samba and the George-Ezra-Shotgun-inspired Riding Tractors is Fun!
